Thinking of changing companies, I have a few questions.

I didn't know Horizon used transporters. Those owners are so dang happy to see their RV finished, they pick them up themselves. Next to Spacecraft, I don't know of any better.

I talked to a few drivers over the last couple days, and 3 other transport companies. There all the same , just a different sign hanging over the door .
I wonder if the qualifications for recruiters are to hold a masters in bs ? Lol

As an RV owner of 45+ years, I can tell you without question that NO ONE builds a better unit than these two. All you need to do is look at what owners are using as a TV.

I love confusion in all forms. Even this one.

I am an OTR driver... have been driving for 10 yrs now... but may want to change in the future and have been reading some and watching Youtube videos about transporting RVs...
This guy says one can make about $6,000,00 - $8,000.00 a month... but then subtract truck payment, maintenance, insurance, etc, etc.... but the expenses are not a big deal.... And one can make a decent living doing that... Really? :biggrin_2554: Not sure about that.... :biggrin_25512: Sounds like you have to run your rear end off.... spend a lot of money with vehicle repairs and maintenance, among many other road expenses, etc and at the end make very little profit...
And BTW... did he say that Horizon paid him for empty miles as well...? :biggrin_2554:
I just visited Horizon website and they clearly say that they don't pay any empty miles....
I hear more "negatives" than "positives" with this kind of job... doesn't look very profitable at all... :biggrin_25513:
Maybe a good way to travel if one has another source of income and just looking for "adventure"....

But hey @RV transporter best of luck to you and keep us posted on your endeavors...:biggrin_25519:

I've studied this a bit. Too many dh miles. The guys making money are flatbedding multiple units. Some of the company's will dispatch you backhauls
