So I’m thinking I’ll need an A/C manifold gauge, a vacuum pump and oil, and also oil for the new A/C compressor. By the way, how do I remove the freon from the old compressor? Would I be using an empty gas container to dump it in?
This is on a Thermo King Tripac (2013).

some new compressors come oil added inside but amount of oil in there is usually more than needed. When you get new compressor you need to drain it again, measure it and you can use that oil if it's fresh.

When I bought the compressor the parts guy said it comes with oil. The compressor is not Thermo King brand, but I did buy it from a TK dealer. Oh, I did vacuum it, and it had no leaks. I’m also getting an ACS code on the display.Attached Files:
