I work for this company. As far as food service easiest I’ve ever had. I’ve done food service and delivered milk to grocery stores and convinece stores for dean fooods this by far is way easier. All liftgate trailers. Some even have side lifts gates. most big runs have two guys. Some over night routes but you stay in a hotel not in a truck with per diem pay. By far best food service job out there
Anyone work for NDCP(dunking donuts)?

those hours are hard to adapt to. not like its a 12am start everytime.. it can be anywhere from 12-8am. that's tough. ive seen plenty of guys deliver for dunkin. looks like any other food service job. Ive seen some trailers in some really tight dunkins and asked myself how the hell they get in there lol. that money looks really good, but im sure its a nightmare of a job and your exhausted by the end of it. nj seems to be a 6 day week which is overkill

I got two co-workers who worked for NDCP. One for 5 years and the other for 12. Pay has significantly gone up since the last time they worked for them. They didn't have drivers making over $100k back then. Nor were they allowed that much OT...but that's not the case anymore.
Here's what one of them mentioned about the job. Now this goes back a few years, and I'm sure things have changed and that each barn operates differently and have different type of rules, pay, atmosphere, etc....but from his experience, you start off on a 90 day probation at whatever the starting rate is. During your probation period, you'll be timed at each of your stops with some type of tracking device. They don't want you to lollygag, since your paid hourly. After your 90 day, you move up to top rate, which can be as high as over $30 and hour, depending on cost of living. Routes are bidded by seniority. It's a nonunion job. They did try to Unionize at one point, but failed. Start times may vary, because it is a 24/7 operation, depending on what route your on. Majority of the routes are 5 day work week, home every night. Nightshift runs are solo, so you'll have access keys to unload late at night. Not something I would want to do alone, late at night, in bad neighborhoods. They also have 4 day runs where you're out 2 days at a time. Now you will be delivering baked goods, milk, supplies, etc., using a liftgate unloading palletized freight with a palletjack. Once offloaded, it has to be broken down and delivered into their storage area via hand truck. The trailers are 3 compartment reefer trailers (freezer, refrigerated and dry). He did mentioned that a lot of the donuts delivered are premade and frozen (so much for fresh made donuts...lol) because they had a hard time finding bakers to come in at 2-3 in the morning. They do deliver fresh made donuts, but they are delivered by the small box trucks, so if you want fresh made donuts, follow the small box truck delivery guys. Raises are about 4-5% per year. Benefits are fully paid and 401k is 3% match. He also mentioned that as far Foodservice jobs is concerned, it's a pretty easy job compared to other Foodservice companies out there.
Here's a YouTube video on the delivery process. Obviously it's a promo video with the best case scenario, but it gives you an idea of what the job is about.....
