Reading about this company, it seems I will start out on night shift. They have a ‘6 day on, 3 day off’ cycle. And when (not ‘if’) the 6 days falls on a holiday, you’re working it. And while you’re not paid hourly, I read you’re paid for everything you do. Whether it’s driving, loading or unloading, waiting to load/unload or you’re broke down, you log it and you are paid for it. Would you say this is true? And is the advertised $85-100k pay rate accurate? And do they give pay increases to drivers who have been there for some time?
There was someone who started a thread discussing their experience working there, and I seem to remember he ended up quitting due to time constraints; being unable drive and unload without busting the 11 hr/14 hr on duty rules.
Anyone work for Messer Inc.?
