I have noticed that they've been running some ads in our local Sunday paper here in OKC. I've looked at their site and read their background, looked at some openings, but don't know how well they operate.
Apparently they are a job-placement service for CDL drivers much in the same vein as Express Personnel. The seem to be a nation-wide company and I was wondering if anyone here has used them to find a part-time job or used them to find the job you have now or had before.
Thanks,
TAF
Anyone out there heard of ProDrivers?

I know of these guys and I warn you to approach with caution. I checked into them one time and found that they are in with JBH, they will tell you they are not but will hand your info right to good old JB.

Yep,I believe that is one of those, when I have used these ads,I would check to see what companies they list to hire you. J B is like a tick on a dog, they don't ever let go. I met one guy at orientation once with them,he is a test instructer, his name he goes by is Sarge,What a trooper he is, That guy got instant respect by the whole class,he is a real straight shooter,Roehl would be much better for him. Whenever i see a Jb driver,I say tell Sarge harry said hi,they all like him, another guy that looks like jack hanna the animal guy on tv is great too,i forgot his name.

ProDrivers in general treats their drivers well, but as with any business there are a few bad apples. -
I have worked for pro drivers while laid off from my full time job. They have never tried to get me to work for JB. They fill alot of jobs for Ryder logistics, Penske, or anybody who needs a driver. I did a job for Cintas uniforms one week and they offered me a full time job, I didn't take it. They don't force you to take any job and there is no loading or unloading, also pay is by the hour.

The only reason I'm not still with ProDrivers in Greenville, SC is:
Really Poor Benefits
Currently no OTR positions heading out west.
Started with them when I was working help desk for Verizon Wireless. I drive for them on my days off. At that time I had more than 5 years experience. Then I quit Verizon and went with them full time. Yea, they've stuck me with some crappy jobs, but if you get tired of where you are at, they'll find you a replacement and then find you something else. Drove on and off with them for years. Done several local jobs, drove some yard truck, and did OTR and dedicated. Probably when I get tired of OTR, I'll probably go back to them. Great place to work between jobs, or on days off. -
Thought I would fire this thrrad up again or try to. Any current drivers working for prodrivers?
