I am trying to research different companies to lease on with. Anyone ever been with CDN?
Also looking at System Transport, a Trans-System company that includes TWT.
Anyone ever leased on to CDN Logistics?

yeah I had a friend with them and he seemed happy but got trailers and moved, I wanna say it was the same company out of the chicago land area?
-
Yeah they run a lot of freight into and out of Chicago. You'll end up forever getting reloads always going back to Chicago. Base rate loaded is sort of odd, it's less south of the mason Dixon (roughly) and higher north of it. No surcharge empty miles and always give away 50 miles deadhead for free on every load. Pay is short miles. Their saftey rating sucks. Friend of mine was leased there. Ran lots of miles they kept him busy, but he never was able to put back substantial money - same old story cheap, cheap forced dispatch pretty much..

Yes, it is a company based out of chicago.
so your friend seemed happy and doing good with cdn
well thats a good feedback -
yeah ive herd a few other folks say its always a 50 miles dead head for free after every load. thats not a good thing!
and running to chicago i have no issues. i can handle that! as long as they keep they work with what they pay per mile and FSC
and u saying force dispatch also kicks in my nerves a lil. well i guess ill keep searching for more feedback,
thank you very much for ur reply -
One of my drivers came from them. Typical mileage pay company. Nothing good about the numbers they talk about. What it seems like is they have this high pay band with few loads in that band. Do your business planning with them at the cheaper rate, 10-15 percent DH and the 50 free. If you send me a message I can put you in touch with my driver. He is a straight shooter and will give you an honest run down.
