Anyone do the dollar tree based in ridgefield wa or Oregon/NW region?
Im an experienced driver and have done similar deliveries to walgreens, considering this dollar tree account because its high pay.
I'll be asking the recruiter these questions but want to hear from a driver who's done it.
What is the hourly rate?
It says its hourly, is it true hourly for everything? If the store is slow processing delivery you just stay on the clock then?
Is some of the pay CPM, case count, etc?
How long do they train you for the dollar tree and do you have to do overnights with the trainer?
Do they pay minimum wage during training?
How is the work environment with management/coworkers? Do they micromanage or leave you alone?
Do they let you take more than a day off a week ever?
Do you get your own truck? Is the equipment good?
im actually not as worried on the backing and touch part of the job, just the working for CR England part
Anyone do the CR England Dollar Tree Account (Ridgefield WA)

Actually, there's a dollar tree near me where drivers always hit the light and destroy the grass I guess trying back up to the spot they want you. I am told a lot of their locations are bad the place I live has a new driver every month same store just makes sure ask the right questions to protect yourself because something is going on with these drivers always leaving...austinmike and dosgatos Thank this. -
The pay is high because the turnover is higher than OTR. My guess is because of backing into things and getting fired.

I've never heard anything good about any dollar store account. Best of Luck if you give it a try.

@Outis
Not to go off track but I just wanted to give you a heads up on maybe another opportunity. Not that CR-E isn’t a fine career path, lol.
If you live in the PNW look into Swire Coca Cola. They got a bunch of locations in that region. I’ve dealt with them a lot and was always impressed by the people and equipment. Would definitely be my first application if I was looking in that area.Flat Earth Trucker and tscottme Thank this.
