I'm running a 97 KW t-600 with 3 of these batteries rated at 1000 CCA. I was checking my notepad that I keep track of everything I do to my truck and these batteries have been in my truck since Dec of 2008 with approx 122,000 miles on them. This is a farm truck and only gets 15-20,000 miles a year on it. Only electronics I'm running in the cab is a two-way radio and a electric tarp on my hopper. Not much running at night.
I did not believe that these battery's are this old and must of messed up my notes so I pulled battery cover and they are stamped back in 08.
Did I get lucky to make it this far with a set of batteries or is this normal? I kind of thought 5 years was tops on them anymore but I'm not running a lot of power in the cab. I'm up north too with a cooler climate so maybe that helps with the life of them. Just kind of curious. I guess when these do fail me I'll be putting the same back in. Thanks
Anybody running CAT maintenance free batteries?

SAR and strollinruss Thank this. -
Maybe I need to check them out.

Every year I open up the battery box and clean connections if they need it and keep them clean looking, which I think helps the life of them. I do not ever see any leakage from the plugs on top of them.
I am very pleased with them. -
How much do they cost? I spent $500 on O'Reilly in house brand batteries about a year ago for the second time. The first set lasted over 5 years and I thought that was pretty good bang for the buck.

I will be buying another set for sure before sale ends.
Part no on those batteries are 175-4390 -
That's competitive. I just expected it to cost twice as much.
