I've been seeking sponsored CDL training for days now. I'm about ready to get my CDL A permit and I have a f/t job as a Van Driver.
I need something around New Jersey. I have a family and so traveling far away for training is not the greatest of options. I don't have spare money to pay for it either unless there's one that offers a reasonal payment program :/
thanks alot
any sponsored training in nj?

You can try local community colleges/tech schools some offer CDL training but for company sponsored training that's going be tough unless you go with Swift or Prime Inc etc.
Also see about the WIA grant. -
WIA grant - I think that's only if I'm out of work which may happen if I get laid off when it gets slow
are Swift and Prime (etc) training facilities all at a distance from NJ? I guess I could do more research on CCs/tech schools. thanks -
Why trucking? Just curious. I'm not in the industry yet, but I am considering it. I just wonder about other peoples rationale. As far as sponsored training in NJ I found that CR England has a training facility in Burlington, NJ. I would read up on CR England before doing that though. There are a lot of negative comments about CR England here and elsewhere.
There are some companies with paid training so you may be able to do that? -
