You say you have a contract.
If it is a sweet deal then it could be a lemon to them.
It could be that they want you to make a move that could get them out of this contract and you are being set up.
Look at it this way , a company buys a company on the point of bankruptcy.
They then find they have bought them self's in to a binding contract that is not great from their side.
Solution is to goat the other party in to an action that gives it a way out of this undesirable contract.
I obviously have no idea if this is applicable but just a thought.chalupa Thanks this. -
You should have been making copies of your bills before sending them in to the company. I always make copies of all paperwork. I have been doing that for many years. Things can get lost. I have had Trip Pak to lose paperwork. It hasn't happened often, but it has happened. Without copies there is no way to prove the load was delivered. I would continue to work through the system. I don't know of any carrier that would intentionally deprive a driver of his pay. Things can happen. If paperwork isn't properly submitted then the driver won't receive his pay. In order to put a lien on equipment or anything else, you must first file a lawsuit and get a judgment on the defendant. If you are successful in getting a judgment you can then put a lien on their property. However, for something such as this I think that you would be making a mistake to file a lawsuit. I think that it could be handles without all the hassle of going to court.

there are software that you can download on your computer. i think transflo is one of them.
have a printer scanner. and internet fax service only costs $8. depending on who you sign up with.
i use ringcentral for my faxing. but transflow software on your computer does it's own faxing. all you need is your phone as a internet modem. or if you prefer to shell the extra dough like most do. buy a mobile hotspot.
as for lien on the truck. it's probably leased through a bank or dealer and not actually owned by the company. -
Dude just retransflo it in. I believe you said thats what you did in the first place. Sounds to me like a clerical error on their part. See if it goes through if it doesnt start at the bottom with your fm. I dont think its worth going through all the court crap to get your money. After lawyer fees and court costs you probably wont havmade much back anyway. I seriously doubt they're screwing you on purpose.

forgot to mention. that my ringcentral program actually keeps it's own copy i can retrieve from there websight. and there's also a copy on my hard drive when it's scanned for faxing.
transflo may have that same option. -
you can buy a $39 HP all-in-one printer/scanner that will do the same thing and you can have it in the truck.

I don't turn anything in without a copy of it kept.
Most of the times, I retain the originals. -
Like said previously resend paperwork 2,3,4 times. Give it 2 weeks and then contact the state labor board.
Incompetence is rampant and generally accepted but when you don't get paid that is unacceptable.
