Any info on Affton Trucking?

    They're based out of St. Louis, MO I believe. I see them a lot while running up and down US-50 back to the DC. They seem to run clean trucks. Macks and Freightliners, mix of daycabs and midroofs.

    Has anybody driven for them? Know what the pay/work schedule is like? Just probing for info.

    Affton is probably the biggest rail company in st louis,they also do bulk tankers now.they have decent trucks and it seems like plenty of work.downside is they pay percentage,which sucks and their CSA score ain't real great.if u are looking to get into containers there is better companies in st louis to chose from.I worked for affton years ago 1995,some weeks were good some were not.depending on were u live,(u mentioned out 50)Jung trucking is hiring drivers out of Mt Vernon area to run general tire stuff,they have a warehouse at general tire and they still pay hourly.also Copp of St louis pays hourlystill,this is where I work since 1996.most of the others all pay percentage.hope this helps.
