Any good York Pa local or dedicated jobs?

Schneider has a Harley-Davidson account in York.

Schneider has lots of accounts, maybe some near York. Nissan, Toyota, and many others.

Venezia Transportation has a terminal in York that does local work.

 

H&H general excavating. They pull pneumatic tanks, belt floor and flats.

Kinard but I dunno anything about them.

There's a huge grocery warehouse in York called ES3 Logistics. I think mostly O/Os pull their trailers but they may have some company trucks too.

 

Certainly not for everyone, but it is an option. I pull a top heavy tanker on those small roads everyday and don't have an issue.
Now I if they'd just fix the train tracks in the middle of town, life would be good!

 

Norfolk Southern has a rail hub around Carlisle.I'm guessing that there should be a buttload of intermodal kind of jobs with different companies around there. I know Schneider and JB both pull out of there. JP Donmoyer is located in Ono,PA,which isn't too far,and they're always looking for drivers. DM Bowman has a terminal in York. Old Dominion has a big one below Harrisburg along I-81.Shaeffer's home base is also close to York in New Kingston,PA.Good luck my friend. You shouldn't really have a problem hooking up with something in that area.

 

JB Hunt DCS does all the ES3 local grocery store deliveries. Think they do Giant and Martins stores. It used to be Webster Trucking but they lost the account to JB DCS. Give them a try.

 

The problem with talking to J.B. Hunt is if you don't go to work for them, they'll hound you relentlessly almost daily with phone calls. I called them once about a particular dedicated job that was already filled, and it took almost a year to get them to stop calling me offering me lesser jobs that I told them I wasn't interested in.
