i've got a pittsurgh power box in my truck. they went & did a full ecm update upgrade, mufflers, damper, box, etc; cost me a good chunk of money but i got power & fuel economy. made a guy with a 550 cat the other night want to go home when i lifted the hood & showed him my 500 detroit. (but i forgot to show him the pp box lol)

I know of two different drivers that dropped a TON of money at pittsburg power, and the one is out of business now and the other one is just getting by. Bruce and that bunch up there totally ruined both their trucks with their so called high performance engine builds. I bought one of their low pressure mufflers for a W-900 that goes underneath and they told me how great it was, well it lasted about a month. Got better mileage and performance with stock mufflers and you might as well run straight pipes as far as the loud factor....

I have heard several stories equivilant to plowboys. Not alot of PP experience here. Owned a KTA a few years back and chatted with PP on a couple of upgrades. Projects never got off the ground. They did alot of talking saying how much they could do. I wasnt impressed and couldnt convince myself to give them a chance.
I bought their muffler to replace the stupid KW under cab muffler. Had to shorten and modify to fit truck. But in all fairness, it probably wasnt all their fault. There is a wet system that required the shorter muffler.

I did state they aren't cheap. Good, but definately not cheap. Been dealing with them since the late 90s, when they were still Diesel Injection Service of Pittsburgh.
BTW, they have never caused anyone to go out of business. If someone can't handle their own money and business affairs, that's their problem, not someone else's.

Paccar's high price on the pete gliders doesn't help . I got a qoute on one from my local dealer, and it was frightening !

Well a few friends ordered 2 new Pete gliders in 2010 when Pete was doing 50 per month. Now they've jacked the prices and are building 200 per month. Bottom line, if your not willing to pay please step aside because the line behind you is.

I'm waiting for KW to offer the W9 as a glider instead of just the T8 and 660 and I'll have one. Dealer thinks they're limiting models to gauge demand.
