I am not sure if this is the correct place to post this -but Do they still have, sell or are they legal and does any one use them --
"Anti Glare Lights" --you know the kind that use to be inside the truck to prevent headlight glare on the driver. Pointed at the windshield (usually mounted in the upper corners of the windshield facing out)-and were generally purple, yellow or red if i remember correctly.
I drove one truck that had them installed and i couldn't believe how much headlight glare they cut out. I thought it was just a gimmick to make your truck look cool but they really worked for me.
My only other option was to wear light colored sunglasses at night if the lights were bothering me - i assume others do this ?

Wearing polarized glasses helps.
"Hang - Man" Thanks this. -
Not sure if there legal but I've seen them on EBAY.
-
Drove a truck a month ago and was surprised at how well they worked. I will be installing them in the truck I'm building now.
-
So you can still get them and drivers still use them? i thought they were just a gimmick but changed my mind quickly after using them.
-
I drove a truck that had them a few times. Never could figure out what they were good for. Just some purplish light shining in the windshield.
-
A real truck with a 2 piece windshield I don't like driving with out them
-
Yeah I don't like driving without my windshield either
QuietStorm and Bobble Thank this. -
Hmm yep might have worded that wrong
TGUNKEL Thanks this. -
Could someone help me with this? I always thought the inside lights were for looks only, first time I've heard of them cutting glare. Something surely is needed with so many clowns running the brighter headlight bulbs, and / or not dimming.
