There is a "Chicago Low Underpass Street Map" by "American Map" that lists all of the bridges and their clearances. I picked up mine on Amazon and the price was around $5. Thing is with a city like Chicago even though the sign says 13'6" it might actually be 13'2" or so due to resurfacing and they never bothered to change the sign.

Found an add on that works with your GPS system (Garmin, TomTom etc) that has low clearance information. They have a website that I can't post here, but they are called Low Clearances. Costs about $20 a year. Seems like it would be worth the cost to avoid problems with low bridges. If anyone has used this, let me know how it works.

I know, i know reviving an ol post.... Anyway, we send trucks to amigos in chicago ALL the time. I went there once, and will never go again. I have no problem with Amigos in Houston, Atlanta and Phoenix. Phoenix's only issue is you back in off the street, unless you can a u turn made down the street ya gotta blind side back.

That sounds like Empire beef in Chicago, it is on a residential street also. Or try Andy's Deli off of Pulaski blvd right beside a rail yard. You have to blindside back off of Pulaski between a light pole and a wooden fence into a one truck loading dock that is one of them loading docks that drops way down into the ground. Usually it is always around 0300 when you deliver there but still....
