Sorry havent been around anywhere with a spot for my dang T-mobile internet stick. LOL I have been running up north up in the snow, ice and mountains. Money to be made where others wont go but sometimes its a rough time of it and hard on the truck, lots of stories to tell LOL.. ANYWAY, about American Transport Inc. Very similar to Landstar on how they operate, YOU are in charge of your own destiny, not for everyone as some people need direction. American Transport has a few other companies that are tied to it as in they all are owned and operated by Transport Investments. I have been leased to them for 2 years and am happy. What kind of trailer are you going to be pulling?

Looking at options bc i think i want to buy a 48' flat and a 53' van. Idk if that works there but i think its the direction i want to go. I know there is money to be made with both, and i dont favor one over the other. Id strictly pull a flat if i could haul steel all day and be able to make some money. I like beams, and i live in highly traveled lanes.

Van isnt what they do as they specialize in flat, step. RGN. etc. I just found out that I am the number 3 guy (top earners) in the specialized division. I run a 53 ft, slider spread, step deck. Thats based on linehaul numbers alone and my keep the door closed on my truck but running completely legal. Yeah for me, now do I get a bonus for that? :) As long as I get treated right then I will be a good ambassador for the company whos sticker is on my door, I am not a big whiny baby and I wont filter bad stuff when it happens to me. You could run steel all day if you found the run, as you are in charge of what you do and where you do it. Nobody will hold your hand in the negotiations between you and the agent so make sure you show them your strong pimp hand with the big gold pinkie ring
