I bet you were not considering suing them until you got the ax.
All the people who still have contracts are just happy to have work.
You are in a weak position because you invested so heavily in a company that has no loyalty and now that things are tough they can just dismiss you like a servant.
This bloodbath is going to get worse before it gets better.
I honestly hope things work out for you and your men. You did nothing wrong because two years ago when you probably made these decisions , no one knew how bad this downturn would be.

My guess right now is that Amazon lawyers have advised them to do take this weird tactic for their downsizing because maybe somehow it limits their liability.
Or maybe there is some other advantage .
Perhaps if they suddenly needed trucks tomorrow they could call you up say 'Oh my god we made a horrible mistake , the computer flagged you wrongly , please come back!!!".

No way to know for sure whats happening since they are not shooting straight

 

Or something like "hey, we figured out the issue and you are now cleared to resume operation. Ohh, btw, the rate is now 30 cents less per mile, take it or leave it"

 

Amazon just fired 27,000 employees and you thought you were safe?

Fact is that you were 100% disposable to them and now your services aren’t needed.

Like my friend who put all his eggs in the Amazon basket, you’re literally screwed now.

Try selling off some of your assets while there are still plenty of gullible people wanting to jump in.

 

Why would you need to geospoof? Unless your trying to circumvent some of Amazons requirements.

back in the day some of us got away with doing a lot, but those days are gone. Amazon has learned and has closed many of the loopholes in its Relay app.

 

I am not here to argue or prove anyone wrong. Yes they fired many people, yes they terminated over 150-200 companies, without giving any explanation, proofs, details etc. Yes the economy is very bad and most likely that is the reason why they are getting rid of many carriers. I believe the proper way of terminating agreement is being straightforward, it is not hard to write an email stating that due to the economic downturns we can no longer provide you with work therefore we have decided to terminate our agreement. In this case it is completely different. We are being blamed for something we did not do, and that is being used as the reason our agreements have been terminated. Now the U.S law states that a class action lawsuit can be filed when a group of people have a similar claim or injury against a defendant, and it would be impractical or inefficient for each person to file an individual lawsuit. The group of people can collectively file a lawsuit as a class, represented by a few individuals, called class representatives. Class actions are often used in cases involving consumer fraud, environmental damage, or discrimination, among others. The ideal number for a class action lawsuit is about at least 40 companies.

Currently, I am in discussions with a reputable law firm in Illinois that has shown interest in the case. Additionally, around 20 carriers in the same region have suffered from illegal termination. The purpose of my appearance here is to find out whether anyone else has suffered losses, damages, or been dismissed from Amazon without any explanation and is willing to join the class action lawsuit. It is paramount that we come together and challenge the oppressive corporations. The existence of such forums presents us with a golden opportunity to challenge the entities that exploit and oppress us. If there is nothing to lose but only to gain, why not pursue the matter aggressively?
