I had such a nice experience at the Aldi foods DC in Oak Creek, WI yesterday morning, I just wanted to post about this refreshing stop. Got in early, no waiting. Figured I'd unload and break down myself, only taking off 3 pallets, all the same product. Sometimes I enjoy the manual labor to get the blood going rather than staring at a flashing red light in the mirror. The "dock boss" was a young and friendly gal. Most of the dock workers were young females too, I thought it was kinda cool...buzzing around on their pallet jacks with their snowsuits on, and actually speaking English, smiling and being personable. The receiving manager came out of his office when he saw me because he thought he knew me from somewhere. Even though he didn't, small chat is better than talking to myself. Lastly, the lumpers that I didn't hire even helped me out! Now if all receivers were this great. I might have to stop into an Aldi store sometime now.... I just wish HALF of the other 7 stops on this load were that way.

I do a lot into there, and my drivers say the same thing most of time, One of the better place in WI to del. Woodmans is also pretty good, but it is hit and miss there.

Ive been there once, i hired a lumper and they had the entire trailer unloaded in like a half hour.
just stay away from roundys in ocomowac like its the plague. siting 8-12 hours on the dock per del is getting old real fast.

I dropped a load ( boy does that sound bad ) at the Aldis in Bavaria Il. Ok call it Chicago...Things went smooth there for me also. Heard some not nice things about Roundy's and pray you don't have to go to Supersaver(superscrew) in Champaign Il. They are a total hurry up and wait and are extremely picky or find ways to charge you more.
