had to make a downhill off road delivery today. After looking over the truck I noticed my front axle trailer airbags don’t look seated right anymore. This isn’t normal right?
I’ve let all the air out the tanks back there & the bags and I’m trying to pry the bag back over. It wasn’t leaking air but appeared to be pinched in such a way that a good bump would pop it
Airbag not seated right?

NEVERMIND! I was able to get it. Had to let the air out the tanks, then crack a line loose to the bags, let it all drain, then I guess with trailer trailer completely flat on all four bags, it leveled itself back out once the new air got delivered.

stillwurkin and AModelCat Thank this. -
Bag foldage. Nice!!
Usually cured by overinflation. Or just drive and they will cure themselves .HopeOverMope Thanks this. -
What swaan said.
That happens to me once in a while on the rear spread. I just pull the pin that attaches the leveling valve and raise the lever to let air in till the bag unfolds.
I always feared if I just drove it till it fixed itself I would potentially pinch or damage the bag.HopeOverMope Thanks this. -
I'm like that too early in the morning.
x1Heavy, stillwurkin, AModelCat and 3 others Thank this. -
I second that you could have just taken the leveling valve lever loose and over inflated the bags

Yeah in hindsight that would of been the simpler fix.

That's a trick that will come in handy on the truck for a few different things. Main being a trailer that is sitting to high

Had a lift axle that done that not no more problems solved by restricting the exhaust port let air out slower maintains pressure in side of the bags as billow. s. Lift
