Put a shut off on the line that way you can just off to the blow gun . Or put a quick connect on it so it is not hooked up all the time .

Happened to ne once, vice grips are a great item to keep on hand. I don't use s seat one anymore. I have an airline I attach to the glad hand now I can air up tires or blow the truck out.

Like the ole saying goes, if anything can go wrong....
Next time double the hose back on itself so it kinks the line shut and tape, wire tie, etc the doubled hose together. It wont leak at all. Basically doing the same thing crb said.
Havent been over that road for awhile. Doesnt sound like it has gotten any better? :biggrin_25514:

Could have been worse. Long time ago a co. truck I drove cracked brass underneath and I lost all air and brakes on the Cross Bronx. Rolled to a stop, no breakdown lane, sat and waited for a tow. Quick fix but man that is a rough ayzz road.

I thought this thread was gonna be about blow gun as a weapon.

1/4" ball valve on hose end opposite of blow tip will solve that problem.
Couldn't help but chuckle, your dilemma reminded me of one experience many years ago as I came out of Little Rock AR in my 1971 White Freightliner (yes, MANY years ago!). During the winter, trying to crank that "big" 270 Cummins without starting fluid was a wasted effort. The space behind the seat was the storage area for a can of ether, which at that time had rolled under the seats suspension. By the time I got that truck pulled over, I had the headache from Hell, sick to my stomach, eyes watering, the whole nine yards.
