I am thinking of putting in one of those teltek air scale gauges in my truck. I have an 8 bag kenworth suspension with two leveling valves. What is the correct way to install the guage to make sure it’s accurate? I’m sure I need readings from both axles, how do I feed the pressure from each axle into one guage without crossing the different air pressures from the two valves? I’ve called teltek and they couldn’t give me a straight answer. It sounded like they were guessing

I am thinking you may need two gauges. One for each axel ?
Add the total from the two ??
Got me wondering ?W923, Oxbow, blairandgretchen and 1 other person Thank this. -

You have 2 leveling valves? 1 on each side of truck?
I have 2 Teltek gauges in the dash with the red digital readout. But I only have 1 leveling valve on KW 8 bag air ride….Oxbow Thanks this. -
Come to think of it, there is a instruction sheet of some kind in the glove box, I’ll have to get it out later tomorrow and look at it when I get back…
Oxbow Thanks this. -
The old man only ever ran dual levelling valves on his trucks for better stability - levelling valve on each side. He only ever had 1 gauge so it was likely only plumbed in to one side.
Honestly, just tee into one side and call it a day. Unless you're running a straight truck or a body job with one side significantly heavier than the other the numbers are going to be close enough.Last edited: Aug 10, 2023
