Everything with Airlines and all of that I want to completely double-check I'm not going to have dot problems
Could they have any problem with these fittings?

No you won’t have any problems
Rideandrepair, spsauerland, Dino soar and 1 other person Thank this. -
If it's too shiny DOT will look for something else to find.
Rideandrepair and swaan Thank this. -
Are you using stratoflex line or synflex. That fitting is not what is normally used for synflex, or is that for the rubber line like going to a brake can?
Rideandrepair Thanks this. -
Usually brass is marked if its DOT approved, but I think they are more concerned with the rubber lines, plastic lines, and the fittings adapting them to thread. Your adaptors to the valve should be OK.
I would think you would have to really piss off the officer to get him to find that fitting.
A nice coat of gloss could only help divert their attention.Dino soar Thanks this. -

The warehouse that I get them from sells all kinds of air brake parts and lines, so I figured they would be okay.
I didn't really think about it too much until I installed them. -
Dino soar Thanks this.

Just remember not to mix up 45 vs 37 degree fittings. Steel jic hydraulic fittings are 37. Propane service and i believe air brake are 45. If im not mistaken.
Rideandrepair Thanks this.
