I have several stubborn bolts that won't come off, trying to make a air impact wrench. I'm planning on getting Goodyear rubber hose to attach the glad hand and air chuck, what size fittings I need to make this work out don't want the cheap ones that come from a T/S. Question 2 will the compressor be able to drive a air impact wrench? Thanks.

Yes, you will have 120psi at max, but will go down quickly bc the air tanks are small-not like a shop air tank that may be 100 gallon tank.
Just go to local auto parts store or hardware store-Home Depot or Lowes has a good selection. -
You can change lug nuts with that pressure setup, but keep an eye on them, sometimes they loosen up after tightening, not always.NavigatorWife and colorado18spd Thank this. -
should run a 1/2 impact pretty good

I run 1/2" hose and I have an ingersol rand 1/2" and 3/4" . Truck air does a great job with those, I also carry a 1" Harbor freight brand for wheels and also the truck air will run it to take a wheel off, it's not the most efficient with the 1" but in a bind it will work. Don't buy the low torque wrenches they will not work for what you need. Get the rubber or the flexzilla hose because the normal plastic air hose will be stiff and break in cold weather.

For fittings, you get the glad hand at a truck stop. Take your good rubber hose, glad hand, and impact gun to a local hardware store and let the person working there help you select the fittings. They will most likely also help you Teflon tape everything and tighten it all up. You will probably also get better Milton disconnects at a local place with the superior service.
No one here can tell you what size to buy because there are too many variables.NavigatorWife and colorado18spd Thank this. -
Thanks everyone, my project for the day is air bags and torque arms.

Don't go off the glad hand. Your air tanks should have at least 1 unused port with a plug in it. Just take out the plug and put a quick disconnect in it and use that. Mine powers my 1/2" impact very well. Maybe its just my truck but it wouldn't put out enough volume of air through the glad hand.

No luck with getting the torque arm under the fifth wheel, darn thing welded on by rust. Buddy of mine has a shop he's got all the equipment needed for the job.
