Ahhh, so you're that guy 3 spots down from me at the Pilot....

Haha, kidding. Don't know what to tell ya bud. I'd be trying to get it disconnected real quick, or figure out which fuse it's on. Especially depending on where you're parked at.

I don't think my Cascadia has a fuse for that. It is a cable I pull, so it is probably a direct connection to an air line.

If that happened on this truck I would be trying to find the air valve at the end of the cable, or a kink in the cable in between.

The Volvo might have a fuse. It is activated through the steering wheel so there is an electrical connection.
But I don't think a blown fuse would keep it activated. Just the opposite.

    Fuse + Airhorn = ?????

Erf... snip that air line to the #### thing real quick. Worry about the problem at the shop. Remember you can always bleat the city horn inside your steering.

Find another tractor to run if possible. That one is got some thing going on with it now. yeesh.

Stay away from the beef and bean burritos and the problem should go away on it's own in about 6-12 hours.

    Day cab...
Where the lanyard is, there should be a removable panel. Take the panel off and you will see the little air valve thing. I had one get stuck, and so I turned off the engine and let the horn bleed down the air tank. Then I sprayed the valve and wiggled and tugged the lanyard. Never had another problem.

The day cab should be easier since it won't have all the interior trim that a road truck does.

    Grubby and lagbrosdetmi Thank this.

DONT snip the line you will have a constant air leak. If what six said won't work take line off and bend it over and tape it till you get to the shop. Or clamp vise grips onto the line to block air flow.

It's true that it will be a constant leak. And your solution would take care of it. Thank you for helping out. I forget the details at times.
