2006 KW T2000 w/c-16. have looked all over, can’t find the air Governor. Got truck started in the fence row, ran good, aired up fine, shut down for lunch, then came back restart just fine, but now won’t build air, zero psi. Want to tap the Governor but can’t find it.
Air Governor location?

Governor either mounted on the compressor or follow the lines from the compressor to find the governor. -
A lot of newer Trucks have them mounted on the air dryer.

Check YouTube EZrider359 video ( search compressor) on cleaning unloader springs. Might be your problem.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
Thanks guys, yep finally found it. Back under the sleeper, inside the frame rail. May tap into an air tank, with a hose, and get the truck into the shop. Don’t feel like changing it out laying in the weeds.

Well, changed out the Governor, still 0psi. Swapped out compressor with a truck OOS with a messed up undercarriage. And now it’s pumping air. But have a question on something I didn’t notice the first time. This truck fills air in the secondary tank first, then fills primary tank . Never noticed a truck where the primary fills after the secondary. It’s either primary first, or both together.

On trucks with the ADIS air dryer it will fill whichever tank has the most pressure in it first, then bring the other tank up after.
