Ok for some reason my air filter gauge is not working, the line is connected to the gauge. Where does it connect to the filter housing. It never worked when I bought the truck. So where does that line go I can't seem to find it under the hood

Not exactly sure where on your truck but it hooks up to the air filter outlet. It should be on the pipe between the filter outlet and the engine. Both the filter and the gauge draw air from the atmosphere. When the filter starts clogging more air is sucked through the gauge making it read. Since the filter draws air from the outside in the housing would be part of the intake side. Look on the outlet pipe duct somewhere.

The air cleaner outlet pipe does a 90 degree turn through the firewall. Pop out the main dash panel and dig down til you find the pipe. should be connected there.
SAR Thanks this. -
Pull the left hand dash panel out and you'll find it
. Mine hasn't ever worked in 13 years la. They checked it once under warranty said it was good. never did move. I just change filters once a year ad don't worry about it. -

That thing never worked in any of the petes I owned. I agree with specialK. Just change your filters on a regular basis and install a more important gauge in its place.although I do have a friend who says that his works. When I asked him when the last time he changed his filters, he said, I don't until it gets to the red. To that I said , you must need a crane to lift those filters out
