iv had issues in the past with aftermarket radiators and charge air coolers. but i have a northern radiator, radiator i installed in my truck about 6 months or so ago and so far so good.
SAR Thanks this. -
Had issues with the copper/brass radiators I was getting through Mack, so sourced a heavy duty aluminum one from CG&J down in Alabama...been a few years and haven't had any further problems.

We ordered an aftermarket aluminum/plastic tank radiator for our international a few months ago and as we were installing the new one, we noticed it had damage to it bad enough it would have leaked. The box was pristine with no damage. We returned it and before they let us take the next new one, they insisted they open the box so i could inspect it for damage. I think they thought we damaged the other one. It was a lot cheaper than from the dealer and probably just as good! Truck runs cooler now too!

Aluminum also has a little better heat transfer than the brass ones. That's another reason new trucks use aluminum these days.
