Affiliated Foods- Amarillo, tx

Get off I40 at the Petro-Go west on Loop 334- Exit Washington St. Affiliated is on the left. Check in with the guard when you get there. Room to park, they will call you on CB. If no CB let them know. Used to deliver there once a week. Pretty good place. Typical grocery whse, but for the most part they will unload you at your appt time. You can see Affiliated from the loop. Look to the Northwest. It's lit up real good.

 

If I remember right they have the large dirt lot (room for about 20-30 trucks) right across the street from the guard shack am I right stepn?

 

You are correct. You can park on both sides of that street. The dirt lot is across from the shack but you can park along the road. Just don't park on Washington St.

 

Yea I remember delivering there, I took the exit for the loves off of I27 when I went in though. Was windy as hell and no facilities if you needed to use the RR while you waited to be called in. Pretty easy backing there as well. They do need to put up some kind of marker or fence for where that ditch is on the west side by the railroad though.
