That measurement IS taken from the back of the seat, BUT it is with the seat SLID all the way up.

And a 50 flat top which is very popular on oilfield winch trucks.

I just wish they would make the measurement where the seam or strip in the floor is, basically where the back of a daycab wall would be. That would be much more realistic and accurate.

Has anyone done any conversionson to there 72inch sleeper bed? I have a 36inch memory mattres in mine and it's plenty big for me.I've been thinking about moving that cross brace back 6 inches and doing a little fabrication to make more floor space.I've already taken the top bunk out and built a suround cabinet for storage and my microwave.

THANK YOU! That's what I wanted to know. If a 60" Aerocab is the same dimension from front bumper to back of sleeper aas a 48" Unibilt I think I can make it work.

    Thanks to everybody else too.

I know this thread is old, but, if you read this, do you have pictures of the cabinet you built? I'm looking to do the same thing with mine.

Another question; What is the shortest wheelbase you can have for the 86" Studio? I'd like to put one on my T600 without having the frame stretched, if possible.

Most dealers that are not well known will just guess the sleeper size. My t600 has 72" sleeper.
