    Hi all, i figure you folks would probably have some pretty good info here so i'm taking a shot.

    I'm going to be driving from Atlanta GA, to Buffalo NY in a few days and wanted to know what you guys thought the best route was

    Google maps shows 2 routes as being alomst identical mileage and distance, so i was curious with your knowledge if there was a "better" or "worse" route.

    my 2 choices seem to be;

    A- I75 to knoxville then Cincinnatti, I71 to Columbus then cleveland than I90

    or,

    B- I85 to Charlotte, then I77 north to Beckly, US19 to I79 north to Erie PA then I90

    Is one route easier or faster than the other? If it makes a difference, i plan to do most of my driving over night.

    Does one route have less speed traps? higher speed limits? any personal preference?

    thanks for the feedback! (hope this is the right forum for this, if not i apologize)

    i kinda like B
    only thing is a few small towns that kinda suck with the lights and slower speeds--but it isnt bad
    i actually thought it was shorter to go that way as well---never checked it out tho
    only draw back would be a bit of a lack of t/s on B

    just keep your nose clean thru ohio---and dont overnight in the rest areas
    other than that its ok
    if you are going at night tho--A would be better if you havnt gone the other way
    its not bad on B but like redd said its prety hilly and can on occasion dump some pretty good snow as well
