I own a 2011 Freightliner Cascadia with disk brakes. When i went to a repair shop the mechanic told me that I need to change my disks, calipers, and pads. I looked at my service record and saw that they were all changed and 750,000 KM. I bought the truck when it was at 850,000 and put less then 100,000 Km on it. Im not sure if they are trying to scam me or if they need to be changed. My question is do the calipers need to be changed too? They told me they are 1300 each

Can you look at the rotor to see if they are grooved or measure the thickness?
I dont know much about air disc brakes,.. but its my understanding that the calipers are not like hydraulic calipers,. as in the force use to apply the pads are done via the arm from the air chamber the same as shoes would be in a drum application. So in my opinion,.. unless there is physical damage or some some severe wear,.. I can not see where the calipers would need replacement. The rotors you should be able to visually see when they need replacement.
$1300 each is pricey. I had all my drums and shoes replaced on mine for $1200.

If they need to be replaced, as in they are worn out ... Somebody has been riding the brakes, or they got stuck on!
They should last much longer than that!Another Canadian driver and Bob.g Thank this. -
You need to educate yourself about your disc brakes so people won't take advantage of you. I thought the big benefit to discs was low maintenance and the pads last a really long time. Pads and rotors need measuring. Calipers sometimes need replacing too not sure what issues you would have there I don't have discs. But it sure sounds like a rush to judgement them saying you need to replace all calipers and everything around the unit now. @wichris is the only person I know with disc brakes on several of his trucks/trailers.

They said one pad is more worn out then the other, but under my understanding the first pad hits the disk and moves it to the second pad. Im not sure if who would know about this

There will be a button download documentation.Look for the service manual.Read it.
