Also someone told me I could get a DUI just by having it in my system if they random piss tested me at a port I'm guessing???

What ports random pee test drivers?
My only random pee tests come from the consortium my carrier belongs to. Something like that should be out of your system in 48 hours anyway.
I honestly do not know what that is,.. but If its prescribed by your doctor and does not make you loopy or effect your job,.. then I personally would not tell anyone.
Hurstramblingman, slickWillie1980 and TigerShark Thank this. -
That's what I thought I was like there is no effing way it can be pee tested at a port

It's dextroamphetamine.
If you get a random or post-accident drug test with it in your system you'll test hot for meth.
Smart to get a doctors note just to cover your ###, or get a new medical with the prescription noted on it and self-certify that one with the BMV.
If you're a company driver a lot of companies have certain medications that are strictly forbidden, adderall being one.
So you could get fired even with a note.Hurst and blairandgretchen Thank this. -
It's dope.

Chicken feed it is. Pee in a cup and you'll be labeled a meth user.

The prescribing Doctor will need to write you note that in his/her opinion, you are safe to operate commercial vehicles while using said prescribed medication. You will give this to the DOT Doctor issuing medical card. The DOT Doctor may place you on probation and only issue a 1yr medical card instead of the normal 2yr card. Keep your current prescription bottle handy, after a DOT drug screen, you may receive a call asking for current prescription information. I would not volunteer any prescribed meds you take to your current employer. Prescribed meds are between you, your personal Doctor, and the DOT Doctor. Stay safe, and use good judgment when driving on any meds. Hope this helps.

You can definitely get a dui on it. Not necessarily by taking prescribed dose but one night if your exhausted having to drive and you take a couple extra and get pulled over with your pupils the size of olives, sweating super hard, borderline tweaking and or talking to much being overly friendly you're screwed. It causes you to clench your jaw/grind your teeth... Dead giveaway. I was on Adderal since I was 8 until 21. Gave it up and never looked back. Most adults grow out of there ADD/ADHD symptoms.
