Hey guys I hope someone can help me. I have a 2015 Peterbilt 587 VIN 262267. I’ve truck for 2 years and I’ve had nothing but problems with my cruise control it doesn’t work I get codes I attached photo. It use work I would set the speed and it would work for a little while than it would kick me off. This also happens if it rained it would kick me off or if I come to a complete stop and I would get going again I would try
setting again and it won’t work.

Neither of those codes should stop the cruise control from working. The first one I believe is for the
relay valve that applies the rear service brakes. It has a solenoid on top of it that the adaptive cruise
control and traction control uses to apply the brakes. There is a connectivity problem or the solenoid has failed.
The second fault is for the headway forward antenna which is the radar antenna at the front bumper. It may be dirty or there is a problem with it. When the headway controller can't function the cruise control should work still without it. It just works like a normal cruise control.
When you scanned the truck did you verify that the cruise on/off, set/resume, brake and clutch and park brake switches were all functional?Last edited: Mar 5, 2020

Yes they all work. I had a bad abs harness in the rear axle which I fixed. I understand that cruise control can still work but I’ve read that after a while of not communicating with front radar that it will not work until serviced.

Did you find the solution ? Im getting the same code (spn 886 )and my cruise stop working as well .
