Sensor came out of axle end.
Replaced one piece wire with two piece,((sensor and an extension)
    This code showing on diagnostics.
Trailer light does not blink. Comes on with key and stays on.
    Thanks for your help.

    Diagnostic display reads
    Active fault code no:2
    Sid:4 Fmi:5 ct:1
    Yellow 1 sensor
    Open circuit.

Replaced sensor on drivers side of trailer.

Sometimes you have to road test it so it can read wheel speed again to make the code go inactive.

Well, I dealt with a pretty long abs issue recently. But mine was for voltage low or shorted to ground. After tracing every bit of wire, underneath the wire loom, I found no real grounding out problem. Bought a cheap abs module/computer New of eBay, was new Wabco but it had the wrong configuration. But my original code cleared and the new code was for sensors I didn't have because of the wrong computer configuration.

Which lead me to the conclusion my abs computer was internally shorted. I finally soured a new one (2000 volvo) , and that was all she wrote...

But you have an open circuit on the trailer side... hmmm

    Oxbow and xsetra Thank this.

We don't work on trailer abs, but I would double check your circuit right at the main connector at the abs ECU. Make sure you using the proper test terminals so you don't deform a pin and cause more problems. Most ABS wheel speed sensors have a ohm range of 900 to 2400 ohms. They should also be completely open to ground and other circuits.

    Oxbow and xsetra Thank this.

Tech says sensor wire ohms ok. But he can't get a voltage reading thru.
To me that makes no sense.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

    IMG_20171111_173935904_HDR.jpg Both sensors replaced.
When I keyed on, abs light did not light..
Until I drove out the door and applied brakes, Abs light came on, blinked a few times then stayed on.
    Unable to count blinks.
Stopped, light stays one. Parked truck. Turn off, back on.. abs light stays on solid. No blinks.

They say possibly ecu is bad.
Have different code than starting diagnostics.

    Oxbow Thanks this.

Hey Xserta if you run the wabco frame mount D version, I have a spare I could sell you for next to nothing. It's a 6s/6m

    It's brand new
