I've been considering applying at ABC Supply for a truck driver position for some time now. After a little digging on my own into the company background, I've noticed mixed reviews about the company itself, depending on which location drivers are working at, mostly pertaining to management. Have any of you out there ever driven for ABC Supply before, and could you give me an unbiased review of the company and your experience with them? I'm looking for information on hours, pay, benefits and yes, if the management is really all that great (or bad?) Also, I've never had any previous experience (although not required is still preferred, so they say) operating a truck mounted crane, so would they train me on how to operate one? Any help is greatly appreciated.

If a company is always hiring everywhere and using Craigslist a lot, that tells a story.

Thank you for your input, speedyk. I am well aware of what to expect when searching for a job on any job posting website. I am also well aware that just because a company frequently posts an ad for a job position doesn't necessarily mean that it's always because of high-turnaround, let alone at the fault of the company, but maybe sometimes, you find the employees that were hired just aren't a good fit for whatever reason. There's both good companies and employees as well as bad companies and employees. Which is why I am asking those who have worked for this company for their honest, unbiased opinions of their past or present experiences.

Hi hauling asphalt, have you taken the job after all? I have an interview in Orlando and I’m going to fly up there since I live in Texas at the moment. How is the job like for you now? How much is the average take home pay? I’m used to working 50+ hours here at Coca Cola lifting cases all day so I’m not worried about the labor part of roof loading but mainly want to know about pay , benefits and the management. Thank you!

Hi Nastagol. I'm sorry I can't be of much help, as I ended up staying where I'm currently at afterall. I haven't heard good or bad reviews one way or the other about ABC Supply, and from a bit of online research, it seems starting pay is about average for a relatively seasoned Class-B Driver (not to say you couldn't ask for more or even work up to more pay.) I wish you the best of luck with your interview. I'd love to hear how things went. Stay safe out there, my friend.
