Was wondering if there were any companies out there that provide emergency roadside assistance like AAA does for automobiles, only for trucks. Probably wishful thinking, but it's worth a question!

There are some commercial services that can provide you with 24hr breakdown service, but they are more like a national hotline/referral service. You or your company end up paying for both the service and whatever repair/towing charges. Nothing free like AAA.
    Here's one:http://www.911roadrepair.com/Default.htm

I did see a company like you described recently advertising their services. Can't remember their name and haven't seen them advertise lately, but you paid a fee to join and then were "rescued" if you broke down anywhere in the USA. You also paid a monthly fee.

Check with your Insurance Agent mine is with my policy covers $2500 for towing to nearest repair facility capable making repairs $500 less deductible for labor performed covers labor for flat tire not the cost of tire and a lot other stuff. It is a diminishing deductible $250 but decreases 25% for every year of coverage as long as you dont make a claim It cost only $97 a year for the extra coverage

Google Great West Casualty truck insurance

    Also NTP Warranty

There are several national insurance companies that now offer roadside assistance in their truck insurance policies.

(There is a whole thread already talking about this)
    But here is some information:

They will drop the cost $100 if you ask. So $299/yr....
I found out about these guys from my dude at Comdata.

OOIDA also offers this if you carry physical damage with them. It's about $350/yr additional.
