I noticed I burn about a gallon a week of oil. Truck has noticible blow by also . But don’t think that has to do with it . It got it from one week to another . I’ll post some pic of my compressor . It’s on. Peterbilt 379 1997 . 3406 e model thanks guys
A lot of oil coming out of air tanks and purge valve need help .

Remove the intake or charge air from the air compressor to isolate the engine from the compressor. Inspect the intake for wetness or oil coming from the engine. Run the engine with the discharge line off and the compressor building...hold a piece of cardboard or sheet of paper to the discarge port at the compressor. If it spatters the paper with the intake off the compressor is passing oil, no question. If the intake is wet suspect engine issues.
Air systems can be a bugger to clean of oil. Flush the line from compessor to the dryer really good and replace the dryer complete with a reman or new.Rideandrepair, homeskillet, Dave_in_AZ and 2 others Thank this. -

Sure, intake is on the side. Discharge is the stainless braid on the top of the compressor.
