The A/C in my 94 W900L works freakin awesome in the sleeper but hardly at all in the cab. Expansion valve? Or something simple? I know, that was funny, I laughed as soon as I saw what I typed!! Simple, WTH was I thinking!! Any thoughts on the A/C??

Cut off heater valves to cab, Possible low freon,if you have sight window on dryer look for bubbles passing thru glass.

All water valves are closed. As stated, cools awesomely in the bunk(down to 40 degrees) but hardly cooling in the cab.

If you got good air flow out of the dash, I'll second kwswann's motion, expansion block.

Haha!! No joke there! The mechanic part not the excessive cash in wallet part.

Pull cover off box under dash with motor hot ck. heater core to be sure, gages on comp. will help to see freon low if you dont have sight glass to look for bubbles on dryer, The exp. valve on 90s is not easy to get off without twisting off lines.

Aww now, we ain't all greedy. My retirement plan in a few years will be how to figure out a way to pay off all the debt I've accumulated by going into business for myself a couple of decades ago. Looks like the plan is to just keep piling on the debt. I hope debt is like what they say about money, you can't take it with you when you go. Bet my wife hopes I do take it with me.

Does yours have the electronic heater control valve? If it's working sufficiently in the bunk, I doubt refrigerant is your issue, as you'd be experiencing insufficient cooling in the cab and bunk alike. I saw you said the coolant was cut off.. how well does the bunk cool when you have it on? Cutting off the coolant should make the AC blow cooler, but it shouldn't be the difference between cold and warm air blowing out.
