Is this route open? Google maps showing it closed or maybe one side closed between Henderson and Boulder City. Not much info NV DOT website...

Last time I tried that way you need to head over to 95 because they do not let trucks over that dam

That ended when they opened the bypass a few years ago

They are working on the Boulder bypass so there is construction but everything was open this past week.

Aw man, then you do not get to see the rock that is flipping humanity off, and driving across that dam decades ago was a experience, but it will cut a bunch of miles off.

It's just construction. It's open. They are doing some MAJOR widening and improvements since the built that bridge, like it will probably become Interstate 19, yes I know it's on the wrong side of 17, but that's what happens when the few project that did start, started with a Democrat in the white house.

It's open though. Soon that will be Interstate 19 from Las Vegas to Phoenix.

That would be better, but it's still on the wrong side of I-15. The signs along US93 all say future I-19.

You will be two hours prior to the Dam northbound.

YOU WILL NOT be allowed over that dam.

There is a very high bridge that 4 people died building for trucks to cross and to maintain a route connection in case that big dam should ever fail. That will be the bridge you will be using to get to vegas.

Once past there, vegas is not a problem at night you will be seeing the lights as soon you clear the dam.

The wort part of going to Vegas was having to dodge tourists on the dam, yet I'm still a little sad that it's no longer an option.
