92 Mack R688S door handle removal?

    Im painting a 92 Mack R688S that we just bought and was wondering if anyone knew how to remove the inside door/window handles so I can remove the plate behind the inside door panel?

    What looks like a collar on the pivot, it is spring loaded. Push it tords the door and then you can slide the pin out.
