You are probably referring to @Chinatown, not Chinaman. He will pop in shortly with some good ideas for you. You are smart to get into tankers. Most tanker customers will treat you like a full-fledged human being instead of a diseased rat, like they do for van and reefer drivers. I did HazMat tankers for 3 years. Food-grade has pretty good customers also. Fuel delivery is a pretty good gig where you can be home daily/nightly but it is usally 12 hour days and no weekends off until you have seniority. You may only work 5 days but your days off might not be weekend or might not have 2 days off back-to-back.
