I’m not a fan of Peterbilt but they have a “Heritage” interior that’s only available on the 567 and it looks pretty good.

567 is severe duty use I think. And has a power front axle if wanted.

That’s the “old” 567. This is the new version of it, also available with a set back front axle.

The 567 set forward front axle is kind of a 389 replacement. Its got the wider cab, single piece curved windshield, no external air cleaners, slopped hood. Stuff like that. Then there is the 567 setback front axle. And like most pete's both versions can be setup for vocational or OTR setup's.

567 looks funny. Can be built for heavy front axle double frame 46k rears drop axle all of that stuff. And a small grille. When you need lots of power for heavy you probably want maximum cooling = big radiator = more surface area for grille. If you want an aero truck buy the 579. If you want a hood buy a hood. No half measures.

The 567 is not the best if you need lots of air through the good for cooling, but as an alternative to the 579 it’s awesome. Of course the set forward axle helps you get that Pete ride lol.

It’s horses for courses, the 389 has that awesome dash and that cozy feel, the 567 gets you all the modern comforts, the Heritage version I drive is very nice inside. Powertrain wise they are very similar in the engine options and suspensions, so it’s really more about what you like.

Oh yeah and you can get high 7’s in the 567 pulling a box if you’re not bothered to drive 64 mph with 3.36’s and a 13 speed...drops quick when you get in it and start pushing. This is with the MX-13 at 500 hp and 1850 torque with a 30K load.
