389 windshield washer problem

    hey guys/gals, I have a 2016 pete 389. My washer has stopped working. Getting no power to the motor. Have checked all relays that I know of. Any suggestions? TIA

    Pull test the wires at the connector where it plugs into the washer pump and up to about a foot back or whereever there is a tie wrap. The copper will break inside the wire insulation from engine vibration.

    Also check fuse g8 on the fusebox mounted to the firewall, it powers the washer pump.

    This may sound stupid...........but.............double check that you are pushing the washer knob outer sleeve and not the flash to pass button on the end of the stalk. Seen that a gazillion times, too.

    We had a guy do that for years! Fill out DVIR once a month and then complain how shop couldn't fix anything.
