Hey guys I’m new to the forum!
I have a 02 379
I lost my head lights the other day
Fuses and relays are good
Switch is good however I noticed two of the wires look like they got hot.
I test lighted the wires head light wires at the point they go into the main harness...
Any ideas on how to further diagnose the bowl of spaghetti I’m dealing with???? Thanks in advance for any ideas
379 no headlights

So there is power at the switch? The plugs can be corroded, if it hasn’t been hacked like mine was it should have a plug behind the bumper area, you can possibly need a new harness, which will come with a plug and then you will wire it to headlights, if unplug that plug see if you are getting power there. I’ve had my headlights do whacky things.

Just a long shot but,, my '03 lost the low beam side one time. Traced it to the dimmer switch in the turn signal, broken wire. Good Luck and please tell us what you get figured out.

Check your wires where the hood tilts. Both my Petes and my WS had that problem.
Bean Jr. Thanks this. -
I'd also check the wiring inside the headlight box where the wiring comes into the headlight assembly through the hood and from the hood section of the wiring harness.
