This engine is i a salvaged Pete, with a grain dump bed on it. What’s the ends and outs of the 365 Cummins. Is it a step time fuel system? Looks kinda like a derated 400, to me.

Low flow cooling and STC injectors.
Dino soar and mile marker 27 Thank this. -
By the pics, do you think it’s still using the low flow system or been converted. Reason I ask that, is that I though low flows had only 2 small radiator hoses at the bottom of the radiator?
-
@OLDSKOOLERnWV any thoughts?

It is low flow: 1 1/4 inch radiator hoses. It is still STC: Oil line running front to back under C brake connectors.
Dino soar, magoo68, mile marker 27 and 1 other person Thank this. -
What’s up with the AC pump . I bet it burns through belts fast or maybe it just the angle of your picture.
spsauerland and StrokerTSi Thank this. -
magoo68 Thanks this.

Its low flow that has the oil cooler without the spin on bypass filter next to the full flow. Most had 2 filters 1 fullflow and 1 bypass BC4’s were the first ones to do away with the need for the Luber-Finer 750.

You are mixing up low flow cooling with the number of oil filters.
BCIII's had twin spin ons side by side. LF670 and a 777. They had high flow cooling.
I thank the 88 BC4 was the first low flow cooling. Do not remember if they used twin spin ons or if that was when the single LF3000 came out.spsauerland Thanks this. -
Not to change the topic, but I've always been a cat guy and I was wondering, what was the idea behind the low flow cooling?
