Doing a inframe on my 2ws 3406e are there any piston/liner pack upgrade like ceramic or teflon coated looking to put a reliable 750hp motor together thanks for the help! I seen running a 130-9710 cam with 58 injectors and a turbo but can I run the cam with my stock injectors?

I have the exact same setup that you mentioned in my 1LW. I inframed it with an IPD kit and new cat head, I used new not reman 58's, and a new 130-9710 cam. I would do it all at once and be done with it. I sent Kurt (Mr. Haney) my ECM to flash while I was rebuilding the engine. Ive got 120k on it now and the truck works everyday, I think it is a perfect compromise between reliability, power and fuel mileage.

haney told me it was normal for it to run rough on light pedal i didnt like it so went back to stock cam

another 1LW 1,000 plus hp marine cam 57 injectors 600 hp B/S program and damper by Mr Haney, idle as smooth as silk.

You guys don't like a little lope in your idle? I've always like the sound of a gasser with a big cam and a rough idle. Not the same on a diesel?
