Don't mean to sound like a broken record but a person can't just go swapping nozzles in and out like an electronic.

Each piston uses a matching nozzle as each bowl is different.

Serial number and I would be able to see what parts are in the engine.

You mean PEEC? There were PEEC B models as well so that doesn't do much good, the first one ever was basically a 4MG B model with electronic controls.

Cody I'm going to make sure he can get the serial number, if he is really interested on this, its hard to get something when basically all we know is that his engine is a Caterpillar, next time I see him I'm going to help him find the serial number.

    Thanks for your help.

But I will be needing your advise later some time on a turbo, we've been through this before but this time I'm decided on the changes I want for my engine.
hope you can help me with that.
    Thanks again.
    Eddy.

Eddy, have you guys been able to check the block under the exhaust manifold towards the rear of the block to see if you can see the serial number by chance.

Sometimes you can get lucky and wire wheels it, wipe it down and see it.

Also, was this a C with B pump put on it? When you say converted, i was just curious if you ment from PEEC to mechanical or not.

    SAR and Oxbow Thank this.

Snowman, I do think it is a C with the Bpump but I could be wrong on this.

We haven't try to look for the ser # on the block but I told him to come here and read all these precious information, that way he can learn some and try to find the ser #.

the good thing is he is very mechanically inclined, like a mutual friend says you give this kid and his dad a fuel tank, a door, a seat and a bucket full of nuts and bolts and come back six month later and they have a truck almost road ready.

    Oxbow and snowman_w900 Thank this.
