Only if you knew how hard it is to find good drivers you’d understand having a proper referral program in place.

I pay above wages, eventually pay 100% of medical, pay for uniforms, boots and all PPE, pay holidays, have lots of lunches and dinners together, have brand new equipment…..the list goes on and people still aren’t flocking.

The drivers I have stick with me long term, it’s just getting the right guys through the door.

It's nothing personal. I'm sure you are a fine individual and all, but North Dakota is a wee bit desolate with little on the entertainment venue.

I thought the Teddy Roosevelt National Park in North Dakota's east was scenic. The rest of it....:| :| :|

2800 sounds great, but what’s it cost to live while you’re up there? Do they provide room and board or are you paying through the nose to rent a trailer?

When you find talent, it’s often cheaper to pay them more than it is to sift through applicants to find the diamonds.
    Talent always follows the money.
Good pay, benefits, and working with schedules always pays dividends.
Talent accomplishes more work in less time and expense than mediocre talent.
You can wind them up and let them go, knowing they’ll handle anything you throw at them, and it’ll be done right every time.
That pays more than one screw up costs in the long run.

Absolutely everyone in this industry is promising pay that few will ever make. Take it with a grain of salt. Also don't pay attention to sign on bonuses that are heavily taxed, paid out in small increments over some long extended period and with a lot of strings attached.
