26ft Box Truck Hype ?!

    What do you guys think about running a Box Truck with your own authority running OTR or Amazon Relay ?

    I was thinking about getting my girlfriend who has a CDL into it while keeping my UPS job on the side since work is slow where I’m at. She wants me to quit UPS but I don’t think that’s really a good idea. I do see great money can be made on the side with this though.

    does anyone here own box trucks ?!

    There's a handful of sleeper straight trucks at Landstar, as well as a few at FedEx as well. I think the FedEx ones are called Custom Critical, but I think they're teams.

    Box Trucks are not really meant to be over-the-road for long stretches of time. Just get a CDL and go OTR the right way. I was thinking about it also, but there is too many box trucks in the game to where there is a shortage of box trucks for rent or lease. I do not recommend you buy one either. Use the money for a tractor-trailer.

    I was going to post this same question. My husband I purchased a 16ft 2016 GMC, previous Penske rental truck. Want to start delivering and was looking at Amazon Relay too. We need to start somewhere and figured this was what we could afford and start with. I see mostly negative comments with Amazon Relay. Any positive experiences out there?

    Google Tex Garcia, he has a youtube channel that talks about this subject a lot.
    He thinks its not a great idea and shows you the numbers and the pitfalls pretty thoroughly as well as tracking box truck amazon rates
