I have looked around for a while but any info I do find just confuses me further. I was getting ready to do a 2290 for my truck on one online 2290 site, and forgot i needed a EIN (and it has to be over 15 days old). While doing the online irs ein process i stumbled across a part that said "will you need to file form 720?" (quarterly excise tax)... quickly scaned over what a 720 form is and I was left baffled. I am not sure if i would need to do 720's or not... It doesn't seem like I would... Do I need to?

I admit this is my first rodeo in the o/o section and don't know any better... any help on this would be much appreciated... tyvm

*edit* well fudge... just noticed another 2290 thread, should have just popped into that one to ask

I acutely feel your dilemma. The Government will have more of your wages than you do. They have to demand it. Trucking is a very close field. Food means crap, The money is in maintained. I can't direct you to speculate maintinac \e costs. I can hope you can enjoy the information/.
